Aurora Health, now part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Float Registered Nurse for the Wisconsin Resource Team. The role provides adaptable nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational needs, with emphasis on patient safety and quality improvement.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing program graduate, active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least two years of Medical-Surgical experience. Weekend and holiday commitments are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in practicing state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience.
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Fri 1900–Mon 0700).
• Holiday requirement: 2 holidays per year.

• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Promotes a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicates effectively and delegates as appropriate.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains certifications.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area.
