Nurses provide 24/7 coverage for medical and surgical adult patients, honing med-surge skills in a busy float pool setting. Requirements include MA RN licensure, 1+ year RN experience preferred, BLS/ACLS as applicable, and a nursing degree (BSN preferred with ability to obtain BSN within 4 years).

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Diploma/ASN/BSN nursing degree; BSN within 4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Medical-Surgical settings.
• Communicate with health care team, patients and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities with inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records in the system.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow unit guidelines and policies.
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects.
