Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to perform both clinical and managerial duties on the inpatient floor. You will provide direct and indirect patient care and coordinate with physicians, the Nurse Manager, and coworkers about changes in patient condition.

The role requires responding quickly to changes in condition, conducting head-to-toe assessments, and supporting bedside reporting using IMAP and SBAR.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC/ENPC preferred.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• Ability to communicate with physicians, Nurse Manager, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Performs bedside report using IMAP and SBAR in partnership with the patient in the room.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care within the specialty area.
• Assesses patient care needs and reassesses per policy, including geriatric and general populations.
