Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee clinical and managerial duties. This role includes directing patient care, participating in hiring and disciplinary actions, and coordinating communication among physicians, the Nurse Manager, and the care team.

Ideal candidates will have active RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and several years of nursing experience with leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Three years nursing experience required.
• TNCC and ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in clinical setting.
• Performs disciplinary actions and participates in hiring/termination of staff.
• Communicates with physicians, Nurse Manager and co-workers about changes in patient condition.
