Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a qualified clinical laboratory professional to join our team. The role supports Medical Laboratory personnel and acts as Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of the Laboratory Information System.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality work, interfacing with administration and clients, and supporting regulatory compliance with TMH, TJC, and CAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technician program.
• State of Florida technician license in microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry, and hematology.
• None required.

Responsibilities

• Creates an optimal environment for Medical Laboratory personnel to provide quality patient care.
• Serves as Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager.
• Assists in implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information System.
• Provides the technology, supplies, policies and procedures for quality work.
• Serves as an interface with administration and clients.
• Assists the Section Head in ensuring compliance with TMH, TJC and CAP policies and regulatory requirements.
