Capital Health is seeking a Med Assistant II FLOAT for per diem day shifts at the CMG Central Resource Office in Princeton, NJ. The role supports clinical and clerical tasks, including room preparation, patient intake, and basic testing under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting program with 330 clock hours.
• Current certification from a recognized medical assisting certifying body (CMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA/AMT) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, take vitals and record medical history.
• Assist physicians and staff; maintain exam rooms and supply levels.
• Perform electrocardiograms and point-of-care testing per policy.
• Handle clerical duties: patient registration, scheduling, and filing medical records.
