Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with 330 clock hours minimum.
• Current certification from AAMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA/AMT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and take vitals.
• Assist physicians and staff; maintain exam rooms and supplies.
• Handle clerical duties: registration, scheduling, medical records, and EMR entries.
• Perform ECGs and point-of-care testing per policy and protocols.
• Coordinate with front office for discharge paperwork, referrals, and insurance eligibility.
