Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Engineering Technician for the Manufacturing Operations group in Foster City. You will define, fabricate, test, and integrate electromechanical systems, and manage the mechatronics lab to maximize reliability and performance.

You will setup and execute tests on electro-mechanical components, assist with data acquisition systems, and collaborate with electrical, powertrain, body, and chassis teams to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or technical degree in engineering/tech.
• 4–6 years in lab/automotive development.
• Fabrication experience with wiring harnesses and test fixtures.
• Soldering with thermocouples/PCBAs.
• Experience with bench test equipment (signal generators, power supplies, AC amplifiers).
• MS Office and basic Python scripting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional teams with engineering tasks.
• Fabricate/test fixtures and wiring harnesses for testing.
• Sustain the mechatronics lab: inventory, check-in/out, logistics, safety, organization.
• Execute tests per procedures.
• Install instrumentation per diagrams.
• Manufacture PCBAs and build circuits for testing.
• Troubleshoot PCBAs and components with bench equipment.
• Assist automation engineers with test equipment and data acquisition.
• Maintain safe, clean, efficient workshop/lab spaces.
• Plan work to meet milestones and deadlines.
