Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Test Engineer - Software Developer in Test in Foster City, CA to join the System Integration and Validation team. You will design and implement automated tests for product-level software used by the customer fleet, focusing on scalability and reliability.

You will build robust regression suites, develop Playwright test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce manual testing and accelerate validation cycles in safety-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years as Software Developer in Test with automation experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin, Java, Swift, or Python; strong automation background.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, AWS, API testing, and test automation patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Develop Playwright test cases to boost regression coverage.
• Create a mocking framework to remove mobile testing dependencies.
• Collaborate with devs, QA, and product managers on validation readiness.
• Document tests and trace requirements to defects.
• Perform vehicle mission testing and report validation results.
• Leverage AI tools to improve testing processes.
• Support triage and reproduce defects across envs.
