Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and sustain environmental test systems for thermal, vibration, and ESS applications in Baltimore, MD. The role involves collaborating with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into robust test solutions, utilizing Siemens NX for detailed mechanical designs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical design, a strong background in cooling and vibration systems, and the ability to maintain engineering design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Bachelor's + 5 years experience or Master’s + 3 years in mechanical design.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support cooling systems, vibration systems, and environmental test equipment.
• Support ESS, thermal testing, and vibration testing initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers to translate requirements into test system designs.
• Develop and maintain design specifications and documentation.
• Create and modify mechanical designs using CAD tools (Siemens NX).
• Support hardware integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
