Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus a 2-year technical degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Proven background working in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Build positive working relationships with team members at every level of the company.
Regular standing/walking and ability to lift over 30 lbs as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide electrical support within our 24/7 Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturing plant. Your primary focus will be maintaining and repairing critical machinery, including injection molding units, extrusion lines, automated secondary systems, and power punch presses. By ensuring rapid repairs and efficient component replacement, you will play a vital role in keeping our production processes running smoothly, while also assisting with the installation of new equipment as needed.

Core Responsibilities

Diagnose and service specialized electro-mechanical systems, robotics, vision technology, and automated cells.
Identify and resolve issues within complex PLC programming.
Deliver precise electrical diagnostics for various electronic and electrical circuits.
Utilize your expertise in AC/DC motors and adjustable speed drives to support operations.
Apply your technical knowledge and ability to interpret electrical schematics to daily tasks.
Execute technical projects that help improve overall production efficiency and process outcomes.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of plant equipment.

Environment and Conditions

Work in a climate-controlled, clean, and well-lit manufacturing facility.
Be aware of typical manufacturing hazards, such as moving machinery and occasional exposure to fumes.
Adhere to safety protocols by wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and earplugs, with additional gear provided as necessary.
