Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in San Antonio, TX to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

Key qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years in MHE maintenance or apprenticeship, and experience with conveyors, blueprints, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems or apprenticeship program.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints/electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand for long shifts; climb ladders and perform bending and lifting as required.
