Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility.

You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles. The role requires adaptability to shifts and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints & electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting MHE and safety standards.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems or related apprenticeship program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE including belts, motors, sensors, relays.
• Maintain positive relations across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Meet physical requirements: lift up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and bend/reach as needed.
