Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility. You’ll install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, safe work practices, and the ability to work long shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma.
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience, or Amazon apprenticeship program.
2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
2+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience.
2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE experience.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, sensors, relays).
Maintain positive working relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, perform bending and lifting.
