Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Mansfield, TX to support the Operations Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians for growth.

Eligible candidates have 2+ years in automated conveyor systems, blueprints, safety standards, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience, or certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Following safety procedures to promote a safe working environment.
• Performing preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintaining positive working relationships across the facility.
• Moving up to 49lbs and supporting shifts up to 12 hours with appropriate safety.
