Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Coppell, TX to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility.

You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience and strong safety practices within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience, or completion of Amazon's Mechatronics & Robotics Apprenticeship Program.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Able to move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and bend/lift/reach as required.
