Job summary

Amazon’s Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and pneumatic systems at the Bristol facility. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years with automated conveyor systems or Amazon apprenticeship.
• 2+ years preventive maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading electrical schematics/blueprints.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays).
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and perform bending, lifting, reaching.
