Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) in Fort Worth, TX. This role blends electronics, mechanical, computer and automation engineering during on-the-job learning to support high-performance manufacturing systems.

You will learn to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair systems to maintain efficiency, while ensuring safety regulations are followed. Mentoring and collaboration with journey workers will guide growth in the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical/vocational training or an associate degree is acceptable or 1+ years Amazon RME experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics is required.
• Experience reading measurements and interpretation.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using the appropriate plans and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and related components.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12-hour shifts, climb ladders, bend and reach as needed.
