Job summary

Amazon in Waco, TX is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice to learn electronic, mechanical, computer, and control skills on high-performance systems. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to sustain process efficiency and equipment availability through continuous improvement.

You will be paired with journey workers, work from technical documents, and grow under senior technicians while completing a 9-week training with designated providers after interview.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science or 4+ years of military experience.
• High School Diploma.
• 1+ years of PC software experience including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics.
• Experience reading measurements and interpretation.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using manuals and plans.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems of MHE components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and solenoids.
• Move up to 49 lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours with safe climbing and bending.
