Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice to learn and perform installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, computer, control and robotics systems in a Fulfilment/Distribution Center. You will train through classroom, lab and on‑the‑job learning, while adhering to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet the minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Ability to travel to attend training at multiple sites for 12 weeks.
• Basic computer skills (email, word processing, reading spreadsheets).
• Basic troubleshooting skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechatronics equipment.
• Shadow experienced technicians and follow safety policies on site and in classroom settings.
• Work with PLCs and automation equipment in lab and shop environments.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers and OEMs to understand system operation and issues.
