Job summary

FANUC America is seeking an Associate Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site service for CNC systems across the New England region. The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and customer interaction with frequent travel to customer sites within the service area.

The position requires an electronics/mechatronics background and at least some field-service experience, with broad mechanical and electrical aptitude. Training opportunities and advancement paths are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Mechatronics preferred.
• Two years of relevant field service experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 80–90% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting for CNCs, servo, spindle drive and motor products.
• Travel to customer sites with some overnight travel (2–3 nights per month).
• Report quality problems to the manager/supervisor promptly.
• Learn service operations, procedures and policies; complete paperwork accurately.
