Job summary

FANUC America Corporation is seeking an Associate Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site service for CNC systems and related peripherals in the Northeast US region. You will diagnose, repair and maintain equipment, travel to customer sites, and participate in on-the-job and classroom training while collaborating with senior engineers.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (associate/bachelor in Electronics or Mechatronics preferred), strong customer service, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Ability to diagnose and problem-solve.
• Ability to adapt engineering options.
• Ability to learn quickly to keep current with technology.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Troubleshooting ability.
• Use of diagnostic tools.
• Travel 80%–90% to customer sites.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to drive throughout the service area for business.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, troubleshooting and maintenance for CNCs and related equipment.
• Travel to customer sites with overnight travel as needed (2–3 nights per month).
• Travel within North America as required.
• Coordinate with supervisor and learn service procedures and policies.
