Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) in Utah is expanding its mechatronics team. This Mechatronics Development Manager II will direct embedded software, mechanical and harness, electronics, and system engineers to ensure best practices in mechatronics design and development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in mechatronics, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
5 years as a mechatronics/engineering role.
3+ years of prior engineering team leadership.

Responsibilities

Act as a manager and mentor for engineers on policies, procedures, and technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of the mechatronics development department/group/team.
Ensure the team adheres to industry best practices and company standards for mechatronics development.
Oversee integration of subsystems (mechanical, electrical, and software) to ensure seamless operation.
Evaluate and optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, cost, and reliability.
Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring their continuous development and alignment with organizational goals.
