Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Systems Engineer - Mechatronics to lead development of system requirements for autonomous systems and robotics.

You will bridge Product Management, Solution Architects, and Engineering teams to translate goals into robust designs that meet safety and performance targets. Ideal candidates have 4–7 years in requirements elicitation and management, experience with HARAs/FMEAs, and proficiency in ASPICE SYS.2/SYS.3, Jama/DOORS/Polarion, and modeling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in requirements elicitation, generation and management.
• Experience with autonomous systems, robotics or related domains is preferred.
• Proven track record delivering requirements-driven work through full product lifecycle.
• Proficiency with ASPICE SYS.2/SYS.3 and related support processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder identification and analysis; coordinate with Systems Architect and Dev Manager; track KPI milestones.
• Translate product goals into comprehensive requirements and enforce quality standards.
• Generate and baseline ICDs for subsystem and vehicle interactions.
• Model system structure, behavior, and interfaces and select appropriate modeling methods.
• Prioritize requirements and provide rationale; manage change impact across subsystems.
• Co-lead safety analyses and ensure safety requirements are integrated into specs.
