Job summary

Arrow International, based in the United States, seeks a Mechatronics Engineer to support manufacturing operations with hands-on expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, automation, and robotics. You will work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Automation teams to improve equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement practical on-the-floor solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, automation, or maintenance preferred.
• Exposure to mechanical/electrical systems, sensors, robotics, PLCs, or automated equipment preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, manuals, or work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support troubleshooting and improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Assist with mechanical, electrical, and controls issues on the production floor.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Support equipment reliability, uptime, safety, and process improvements.
• Assist with automation projects involving sensors, conveyors, motors, and robotics.
• Document equipment issues, changes, and procedures.
• Support new equipment installation, testing, and ramp-up.
• Help with layout changes and tooling improvements.
• Partner with Production to develop practical solutions for day-to-day challenges.
• Support improvements in quality, throughput, and waste reduction.
• Maintain technical documentation and project records.
