Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical technology or mechatronics with hands-on equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or drive systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build and modify custom equipment including tooling, guarding, drive systems, and structural assemblies.
• Install and integrate pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot, align, and improve equipment performance.
• Install and integrate control panels, sensors, motors, and automation components.
• Work with team to startups, commissioning, validation, and operations improvements.
• Read mechanical drawings, layouts, and electrical schematics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Recommend design improvements to enhance safety and reliability.
• Maintain documentation of builds, modifications, troubleshooting.
• Support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
