Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking Maintenance Technicians for a growing team servicing one of the world’s largest online retailers. The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program offers extensive paid training, with 9 weeks of classroom instruction and on-the-job learning to prepare you for the role.

The minimum salary ranges from $53,560 to $63,336 annually, depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to attend a 12-week in person paid training.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, standing, walking, climbing).
• Experience using hand tools (powered or non-powered).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Build positive working relationships with the Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
