Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Technician for the Mechanical Testing Lab in Columbus, OH. You will execute mechanical tests under engineers’ instructions, maintain records, and support testing operations in a climate-controlled, on-site lab environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, experience with hydraulic/mechanical equipment, and basic data-acquisition software. This is a contract-to-hire position with benefits eligibility, based in Columbus, Ohio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanical (hydraulic) equipment.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and data acquisition software.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and legible records of mechanical testing setup and results.
• Interact with engineers and external customers to deliver desired results in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other team members to accomplish mechanical testing operations.
• Maintain a clean and presentable working area.
