Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a testing, manufacturing, quality, or laboratory environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through prior work experience or education.
• Basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to safely operate laboratory equipment, testing instruments, tools, and machinery with training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sample preparation and assist engineers in performing laboratory tests.
• Perform routine testing and gather data according to procedures and work instructions.
• Support mechanical testing activities including tensile, hardness, corrosion, and fastener tests.
• Support chemical testing activities including sample preparation, testing, and analysis.
• Complete reports and documentation in accordance with quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform routine upkeep of laboratory equipment.
