Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a Mechanical Technician (2nd Shift) in Ohio to join our expanding team. You will interpret client requirements, supervise staff, operate advanced mechanical testing equipment, and maintain precise records.

Candidates should have a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent, hands-on experience, and familiarity with ISO 17025 quality systems. Excellent attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on, self-motivated technician.
• Experience in mechanical testing environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 quality systems is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of internal and client requirements.
• Supervising allocated staff and day-to-day management of the discipline.
• Operating complex mechanical testing equipment.
• Maintaining accurate and systematic records.
• Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory.
• Performing general duties in line with Element's procedures, quality and H&S system.
• Application of instrumentation and setting up of complex data capture equipment.
• Report writing, data interpretation and analysis.
