Job summary

Randstad USA in Jackson, MI is seeking a Product Test Technician to set up and perform performance testing on product assemblies and hydraulic components. You will review blueprints, identify test objectives, and prepare equipment according to test specifications.

The role requires a HS diploma and hands-on lab experience, with responsibilities including maintaining testing machinery and safely operating hydraulics and pneumatics. This contract position offers structured hours 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and conduct performance testing on product assemblies and hydraulic components in strict alignment with project blueprints and test specifications.
• Review project instructions and blueprints to identify test objectives, procedural requirements, and necessary equipment.
• Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components, machinery, and setup equipment to support laboratory testing needs.
• Draft detailed drawings or sketches required for the fabrication of test equipment or setup components.
• Maintain laboratory testing machinery, manage sample and test data storage, and safely operate machine hydraulics and pneumatics.
