Job summary

Randstad USA in Troy, MI is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a global metal manufacturer serving automotive and aerospace industries. The role offers a preferred 4‑day work week (Mon–Thu, 6 AM–4:30 PM) with overtime potential on Fridays and requires versatile troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, working with 480V control circuits and servo

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections to prevent failure.
• Work with industrial electrical systems, including up to 480V and servo drives.

We are hiring for a Maintenance Technician (days)at a global metal manufacturer supplying the automotive and aerospace industries in Troy, MI. This critical role offers a preferred 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 6AM - 4:30PM), with the potential for overtime on Fridays. Experience repairing both newer and older machines/equipment is ideal. Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM tasks, inspections, and adjustments to machinery to prevent failure.
• Electrical Systems: Work with and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including up to 480V and control circuits and servo drives.
• Mechanical Systems: Maintain and repair mechanical components such as gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, and seals. Perform pipefitting and tubing repair.
• Facilities Maintenance: Assist with general building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC and lighting systems, if needed.
• Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance work performed.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all plant safety regulations.
