Randstad USA is seeking a mature, self-motivated individual to join our Technical Support Department in Suwanee, GA. The role requires a foundational low voltage electrical integration background, mechanical aptitude, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities include technical product support, configuration modifications to hardware, wiring diagrams, and documenting PLC-controlled experiments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in technical support or related field.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job description

We are currently seeking a mature, self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills, teachable spirit, and a high level of attention to detail for addition to our Technical Support Department. Candidate should have fundamental low voltage electrical integration background, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills. Verbal and written communication skills must be strong.

salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

• Technical product and application support for customer and vendor base
• Provide internal SPG team technical support
• Troubleshooting field issues via phone, photos, videos, emails
• Lateral trade coordination (project support)
• End-user support
• Logging and managing trouble tickets
• Help organize and maintain local parts area.

ENGINEERING DUTIES

• Wiring Diagrams (Microsoft Visio)
• Custom electric modifications to hardware
• Custom mechanical modifications to hardware
• Application Engineering Support
• Research and Development
• Product Enhancements/New Product Development
• Cycle Testing & Documenting Products in PLC Controlled Door Lab
• Testing and processing electronic assemblies as standard part of special OEM kit program process.
• Perform hardware kit assemblies/installs for material conversions from stock.
