Job summary

RTX's Test Solutions Engineering team seeks a skilled engineer to research, plan, and design mechanical test systems for vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, and electro-optical environments. You will support the product lifecycle from development to sustainment.

You will integrate and validate these systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability, using CAD tools like CREO and collaborating across a highly cross-functional team in a U.S.-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience using CAD software, such as CREO or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanical hardware documentation or drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, and design mechanical test systems for vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, and electro-optical environments.
• Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements.
• Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
• Develop mechanical solutions that support the full product lifecycle from development to sustainment.
