Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Test Technician to support testing, validation, and failure analysis of semiconductor hardware in a high-performance R&D lab. You will work closely with engineering to develop fixtures, collect data, and validate mechanical and thermal robustness.

The role requires hands-on testing, lab equipment operation, and the ability to interpret schematics and CAD models with precision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical testing and inspection of semiconductor hardware in an R&D environment.
• Proficiency operating lab and machine shop equipment including Instron, DAQs, DMMs, and thermal chambers.
• Experience designing and building custom test fixtures and setting up instrumentation for structured data collection.
• Ability to interpret schematics and CAD models with attention to precision and tolerances.
