Job summary

Quality Talent Group is recruiting for a maintenance technician in New York to perform mechanical maintenance ensuring safe, continuous operations. You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment using a wide range of mechanical tools and procedures.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance; a trade certificate or technical degree is preferred. MSHA compliance and safety focus are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Trade certificate, technical degree or equivalent.
• Mechanical qualifications/certificates of training preferred.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work according to MSHA and plant health and safety procedures and policies.
• Perform mechanical maintenance work to ensure safe, continuous and efficient operations.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment using mechanical tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot potential concerns required to achieve and maintain maximum productivity.
• Report maintenance problems to the appropriate supervisor and participate in the development of corrective and preventative maintenance plans.
