Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking multiple Mechanical/Manufacturing Technicians for a long term (Temp to Hire) role in Menlo Park, CA. The position is onsite with a 4/10s shift (Mon-Thu 7:00 AM–5:30 PM) and pays $28–$37 per hour, DOE.

The team builds cutting-edge generator components, emphasizing safety, ergonomics, and efficiency. You will inspect test units, document findings, and contribute to process improvements while adhering to procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and/or repair.
• Experience with automotive or heavy equipment assembly is a plus.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and maintain safety.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments down to .001", using micrometers, bore gauges, and gauge blocks.
• Metal fabrication skills are considered a plus.

Job Overview

We are looking to hire multiple Mechanical/Manufacturing Technicians to work on a long term (Temp to Hire) basis.

Monday to Thursday 7:00AM to 5:30PM 4/10s shift. We are seeking enthusiastic and resourceful individuals with a strong mechanical background to join our growing Upgrades team as Mechanical Technicians. If you have a knack for mechanics, enjoy tackling novel challenges, and possess a passion for improvisation and creative problem-solving, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Leverage your mechanical prowess and unique skills to construct cutting-edge components and assemblies for our generators, following procedures while also identifying opportunities for innovation.

Conducting thorough inspections of test units and meticulously documenting your findings to provide crucial insights for our engineering team.

Proactively identify and implement improvements that enhance both the safety and efficiency of our groundbreaking work.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to learn quickly, a strong sense of self-motivation, and a demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments, capable of measurements down to .001\", using tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and gauge blocks.
• Metal fabrication skills are considered a plus$28 - $37 an hour (Pay rate DOE observed during interview process)

This position is onsite at our Menlo Park HQ . The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee.

Along with the base salary, upon becoming a regular employee of our Customer/Company offers pre-IPO stock options + benefits.
