A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MECHANICAL TECH - AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

As an entry-level Mechanical Tech - Automotive Technician, your day starts with servicing, diagnosing, and repairing customers' vehicles as assigned by the designated shop representative. You complete all auto repair work according to the safety requirements and published procedures. You're responsible for any upsells or additional work due to customer requests, with their best interest always top of mind. Our motto is, "Fix it right the first time", and you enthusiastically work to achieve that aim.

You regularly ensure that your ASM is informed of any additional services that are needed. You also provide administrative assistance with warranty repair orders and maintaining an inventory of our mechanical tools. Naturally organized, you ensure a tidy workspace and make sure that our customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced. Learning the ins and outs of auto repair is fun and incredibly rewarding. You love coming to work each day and learning new skills!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MECHANICAL TECH - AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

• Previous Toyota Experience
• Ability to attend factory-sponsored training classes and maintain Toyota certifications
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• A professional attitude and a desire to continue to learn your craft
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions and information
• An understanding of computerized repair and testing equipment
• ASE certified

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A MECHANICAL TECH - AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

This full-time entry-level position typically works Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and on designated Saturdays.
