Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• At least five years of engineering experience.
• At least five years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Ability to forge effective working relationships up, down, and across the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizen; ability to obtain DOE/DOD security clearance if required.
• Preference for supervisory, project engineering, or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Build a supportive and collaborative team culture.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate timely execution of activities including tracking team assignments.
• Ensure resources are available to perform assignments.
• Ensure work adheres to procedures, standards, and specified requirements.
• Mentor and develop team members through training, mentoring and feedback.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain relationships across BWXT and external partners/stakeholders.
• Support hiring inputs, budgeting, and time charging; perform other duties as required.
