Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders.

You will coordinate subcontractor management staff, monitor schedules and resources, ensure work is planned and executed safely, and partner with design and field teams to resolve constructability issues.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and directs subcontractor activities, coordinating subcontractor management staff on large, complex projects.
  • Reviews subcontractor schedules, resources, and equipment needs; ensures alignment with overall plans.
  • Reviews and approves subcontractor construction methods, schedules, and manning as needed.
  • Interprets Engineering drawings and coordinates with design/constructability teams to resolve issues.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders' involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Monitors and directs subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractors' management staff within the area of responsibility. Role supports on large projects of high complexity with multiple stakeholders' involvement.
Planning
  • Reviews and monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
  • Reviews and approves where necessary, subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
  • Leads the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
Safety / Quality
  • Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
  • Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
Technical
  • Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
  • Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
  • Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
