NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, is seeking a Mechanical/Structural Work Package Planner near Andrews, TX to support project execution by preparing and maintaining construction work packages and short-range plans.

The role collaborates with field supervision, schedulers, and engineering to ensure complete, field-ready work packages and accurate reporting. This position requires strong Excel skills and experience with planning tools, with occasional site mobilization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in construction planning, work packaging, scheduling, or project controls.
• Knowledge of mechanical/structural sequencing and drawings.
• Experience developing work packages and tracking quantities.
• Proficiency in Excel for trackers, progress data, and reports.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; coordinate with field leadership.
• Willingness to mobilize to project sites; fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Primavera P6, Bluebeam, EVMS; bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Assemble and maintain mechanical and structural work packages from drawings and specs.
• Prepare three-week look-aheads and update short-range plans; note constraints.
• Collect field quantities, percent complete, labor data; update trackers.
• Review drawings and submittals; flag missing or conflicting information.
• Update project controls reports and logs on schedule.
• Participate in field walks and coordination meetings; track action items.
• Maintain work package logs and progress databases; perform data checks.
