Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Structural Work Package Planner to support project execution in Texas.

The role involves assembling and maintaining construction work packages, preparing short-range plans, tracking progress, and coordinating with field teams to ensure complete, ready-for-field work packages. You will review drawings and specifications, manage documentation, and produce routine project controls reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of combined experience in construction planning, work packaging, scheduling, project controls, field engineering, progress measurement, or related construction functions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and maintain mechanical and structural construction work packages from drawings, specs, submittals, material information, and project requirements.
• Prepare and update three-week look-aheads and other short-range work plans, documenting constraints for review by leadership.
• Collect field quantities and progress data, maintain trackers, and flag discrepancies for supervisor review.
• Review drawings and submittals to verify information and route questions to the appropriate team member.
• Update reports, logs, and data in project controls systems to support routine reporting.
• Participate in field walks and coordination meetings to gather status and drive action items.
• Maintain work package logs, progress databases, and look-aheads with routine data checks.
