Job summary

Sonos, Inc. seeks a driven undergraduate co-op in Boston to join the Mechanical Sourcing and Supplier Operations team. You’ll analyze material usage, build data tools, and help formalize asset management for MTS parts.

You will collaborate with internal partners, gain exposure to BI/ETL workflows, and contribute to forecasting and reporting efforts within a vibrant, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with preferred focus areas (BI, Data Science, Engineering)
• Experience collecting, normalizing, and manipulating datasets (Excel, SQL, Python)
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for research or analysis
• Attention to detail and comfort with technical/manufacturing data
• Strong self-direction and organizational skills for multiple tracking systems

Responsibilities

• Support materials strategy by analyzing usage and building data tools
• Create a raw material part numbering scheme and support BOM level tooling
• Develop tools to mitigate risk for raw materials (RoHS, conflict minerals, PFAS)
• Collaborate with BU stakeholders and Finance to formalize asset management for MTS parts
• Build and maintain an asset library with tracking and locations for tools and equipment
