Job summary

Sonos LLC is seeking a student for a 6‑month, full‑time co‑op in Boston to join the Mechanical Sourcing and Supplier Operations team. You will analyze materials usage, help create data tools and BOM structures, and develop asset management processes for MTS parts.

You’ll work closely with BU stakeholders and Finance, building data-driven tools and dashboards while advancing internal sourcing initiatives and sustainability topics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad in BI, data science, supply chain or engineering.
• Experience collecting, normalizing, and manipulating datasets in Excel, SQL or Python.
• Familiar with AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT for research and data processing.
• Detail-oriented with comfort handling technical/manufacturing data.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze resin, paint, rubber and metals usage to support materials strategy.
• Create a database to house and manage data; develop BOM level schemes.
• Develop tools to mitigate RoHS, conflict minerals, PFAS risks.
• Assist asset management processes and databases for MTS parts with BU/Finance.
• Build and maintain an asset library tracking condition, counts, numbers and locations for tools and equipment.
