Job summary

Unitek Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Source Inspector in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves performing visual inspections of welds, paint and hardware installation in accordance with drawings, and inspecting cabinets before and after finishing.

You will review inspection reports, FAI documents, travelers, certifications and standards to ensure compliance with project specifications. The position requires reading complex drawings and applying ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform in-process and final source inspections.
• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and ANSI/ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying compliance of machined, formed, welded and assembled components.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of weld locations, paint and hardware installation per drawings.
• Inspect Cabinets pre- and post-finish.

Job Summary

Perform visual Inspections of weld locations, paint, hardware installation in accordance with the drawing. Inspection of Cabinets prior to finish and after finish. Purchase Order Quality Flow Down Requirements and Special Instructions. Review: Inspection Reports/FAI(s)/Travelers/Certifications/Standards-Specifications

Required Skills

• The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections.
• The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
• The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, welded and assembled components.
