Job summary

Unitek Technical Services is seeking a Mechanical Source Inspector to perform visual inspections of welds, paint, and hardware installation in accordance with drawings. This role includes cabinet inspections before and after finish and adherence to PO quality flow downs and special instructions.

You will review inspection reports, FAI records, travelers, certifications, and standards specifications to ensure compliance across manufacturing and assembly processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform in-process and final source inspections.
• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T per ANSI/ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, welded and assembled components.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of weld locations, paint, hardware installation in accordance with the drawing.
• Inspection of Cabinets prior to finish and after finish.
• Purchase Order Quality Flow Down Requirements and Special Instructions.
• Review: Inspection Reports/FAI(s)/Travelers/Certifications/Standards-Specifications
