Job summary

A global technical services provider is seeking a full-time Source Inspector based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves performing in-process and final source inspections in accordance with AS9102 Quality Standards, understanding complex engineering drawings, and using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. Applicants must be US citizens due to contract requirements and will work primarily on 2nd shift with potential overtime. Benefits are available after three months of employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform in-process and final source inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards.
• Capable of reading and understanding complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Must pass a GE quiz.

Responsibilities

• Conduct source inspections including First Article inspections.
• Support inspections for suppliers within a 150-mile radius of Cincinnati.
• Work full-time on 2nd shift with potential OT hours.

Title: Source Inspector

Job Description

• The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards (Basic inspection requirements, ability to read a PO, drawing, determine if an FAI has been approved)
• The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ ASME Y 14.5. (This position would need to know how to inspect parts GD&T, knowledge of handheld measuring tools (calipers, mics, etc)
• A checklist will be provided for reference.

Also the candidate must pass a GE quiz.

Note

• It is a full-time assignment on 2nd shift, possible OT hours available
• Candidate should be willing to travel, but able to support suppliers within a 150-mile radius of Cincinnati, and support needs in Dayton, OH. May be required to support occasional needs in Indianapolis
• Applicant must be a US Citizen, we are unable to sponsor at this time
• W2 contract position to work on as needed basis, eligible for full benefits after 3 months (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
