Job summary

A leading technical services provider in Cincinnati is seeking a Source Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections according to AS9102 standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading complex engineering drawings, understand GD&T, and is expected to use handheld measuring tools. This full-time role requires travel within a 150-mile radius and offers full benefits post-3 months of service. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens as sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards.
• Capable of reading complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Must pass a GE quiz.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final source inspections.
• Support suppliers within a 150-mile radius of Cincinnati.
• Work on 2nd shift with possible overtime hours.

Title: Source Inspector

Job Description:

• The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards (Basic inspection requirements, ability to read a PO, drawing, determine if an FAI has been approved)
• The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ ASME Y 14.5. (This position would need to know how to inspect parts GD&T, knowledge of handheld measuring tools (calipers, mics, etc)
• A checklist will be provided for reference.

Also the candidate must pass a GE quiz.

Note:

• It is a full-time assignment on 2nd shift, possible OT hours available
• Candidate should be willing to travel, but able to support suppliers within a 150-mile radius of Cincinnati, and support needs in Dayton, OH. May be required to support occasional needs in Indianapolis
• Applicant must be a US Citizen, we are unable to sponsor at this time
• W2 contract position to work on as needed basis, eligible for full benefits after 3 months (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
