Job summary

Unitek Technical Services Inc. seeks a Mechanical Source Inspector for quality assurance inspections. The ideal candidate will have experience with machined weapon parts, electronics, and mechanical components. Responsibilities include conducting inspections per AS9102 standards and handling complex engineering drawings.

Candidates must be US citizens and preferably local to the CT area. Benefits include travel compensation, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience with inspections for complex machined, formed, and cast parts.
• Familiarity with Purchase Order Quality Flow Down Requirements.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article Inspections in line with AS9102.
• Conduct dimensional inspections to verify compliance.
• Review quality assurance provisions and documentation.

• Purchase Order Quality Flow Down Requirements and Special Instructions
• QAP Drawings – Quality Assurance Provisions
• AIE Documentation – Acceptance Inspection Equipment
• Various Sampling PlansReceiving, In-Process, Final Inspections/Inspection Reports/Travelers
• [IMTE] Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment/Custom Inspection Gauges
• Hands–On dimensional inspections for verifying compliance of complex machined, formed, stamped, cast, and forged parts
• Complex Engineering Drawings/Parts Lists/GD&T and associated documents
• All types of Certifications [C of C, Material, Finish, etc…]
• Experience with First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 or Equivalent
