Neuralink is developing a brain–computer interface and assistive robotic arm. This Mechanical & Robotics Engineer role focuses on hardware solutions for the assistive arm, with opportunities to work on brain-computer interface devices, surgical robotics, automation, and microfabrication.

You will own projects from concept to production. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics, strong engineering fundamentals, 3+ years of industry experience, and

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics.
• Strong engineering first principles.
• Minimum of 3 years mechanical engineering industry experience, including internships and project teams where you owned products from concept to production.
• Proficient in 3D CAD.
• Experience with robotic systems such as robot arms, grippers, actuators, human-robot interaction.
• Experience with Python, ROS, MATLAB, and control theory.
• Electrical engineering proficiency (PCB design, wire harnessing, circuit design).
• Machining and rapid prototyping experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design and integrate robotic mechanical and electrical components with emphasis on usability and safety.
• Collaborate with clinicians, neuroscientists, biologists, and engineers to set design criteria.
• Rapidly build systems to meet project goals.
• Apply calculations and simulations for design and optimization.
• Drive all phases of device launch from prototype to manufacturing release.
